Easy Peach Cobbler

Basic Recipe:
1 stick of butter/margarine

1 cup Pioneer Buttermilk Baking Mix

1 cup of sugar

3/4 cup of milk

1 large can of peaches (cherries packed in water; apple slices packed in water, etc)

Cinnamon to taste

8x8 square baking pan

Preheat oven to 365 degrees. Place the stick of butter in the baking pan; place the pan in oven until the butter melts. Remove pan. Mix Pioneer Buttermilk Baking Mix, sugar, and milk with just a sprinkle or two of cinnamon into a batter. Pour batter over melted butter. Drain peaches and place peach slices over the entire top of the batter. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Place in oven for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

You may add pecans too before you bake.

Once you make it you will see how easy it is. Dazzle your family and friends; they will think you worked really hard.

If you use a 9x12 pan double the recipe.

This is so easy to make. Thanks to Cathy Mokry for sharing the recipe with me.
