The day I was kidnapped in Dallas, Texas...! TRUE life event

Yes, you read the title correctly....  I was kidnapped back in the early 1980's in Dallas, Texas.  I was around 11 years old.

I am sharing this story to hopefully help prevent this from happening from someone else by being aware of strangers that you may think that you trust.  Please share this with others that you know as YOU may just save a life by creating awareness in your circle of friends and family.

I am not ashamed to share this story as I have faith in God and am always a believer that things happen for a reason.  Yes, such as something as traumatic as this.

It was summer and the time was noon... The weather was a beautiful sunny day.  I was staying at my Grandparents house (on my Dad's side) and decided to go see my brother down the road at the 7-eleven as I knew he would be there playing arcade games.  That's what we pretty much did during the summer when our parents were at work.  By then my Mom and Dad had been divorced only a year or so and me and my brother were living with my Dad.

So, I get on my bike (Huffy) and ride down to the 7-eleven to play games with my brother.  As I park my bike and begin walking to open the door to the store (mind you it is a weekday at a busy lunchtime convenience store) a man in a suit approaches me.  He states that he is a Dallas Bicycle police officer and I broke the law by not getting off my bike to cross the road rather I just crossed the street while riding my bike.  I was speechless and apologetic as I did not know that was the law.

He then told me to meet him across the street.  I said "Yes Sir".  As I crossed the street (and yes mind you this was the early 1980's and kidnapping like this was unknown to me so I was believing his story) he was waiting for me in a nice car (I believe it was a Cadillac).  He was in the car with the passenger window down and asked me to park my bike and get in the car as he had to ask me some questions concerning my parents.  So not hesitating, I get in the car.

He then began to ask me numerous questions about my parents.  He asked where both my parents worked.  I guarantee you if I told him they worked at a bank, he would've held me for ransom.  I told him that my Mom was an Administrator at a hospital and my Dad worked for Southwestern Bell.  He then asked me if I wanted him to contact my parents and let them know what I did (breaking the law).  Of course I was scared to death if my parents found out what I did.  So, I said "PLEASE NO!!!" and I began to cry.... He said, "or I can administer your punishment".  I said "YES Sir".  He then drove off with me in the car.. I still thought everything that was happening was real and legal mind you he was dressed in a suit and tie and had the look of a cop (undercover one at that).

He drove for about 10 minutes, I had no clue where we were going and it was silent in the car.  He then pulled into a public storage and drove all the way to the back.  He said "OK I am going to give you your punishment...."  I was crying and very scared.  He said "Pull down your pants and lay across the front seat." mind you I was in the front seat of the car already while he was in the driver seat.  He then began to spank me about 15-20 times VERY HARD... luckily a car drove back there and startled him and he said "OK I'm done..!".. So I pulled up my pants and we began to drive back to where my bike was...  I then FINALLY realized that something did not seem right.  He was very stern and seemed upset with the way he was speaking to me.  I knew then that I was kidnapped.  As we arrived where my bike was he told me to "GET OF THE CAR NOW!!!" so I got out of the car and he sped away.  As he drove off I saw a Dallas Police car coming towards me and as I realized it I tried to wave him down but he kept going... I am sure he did not see me.

So, I walked across the street and got on my bike and rode home to my Grandparents house.  My brother was there and he asked me where I had been.  I said that "I think I was kidnapped but you can't tell Dad..." He laughed and he said "WHAT..!"  I showed him my buttocks as it was already bruising.  He freaked out and called Dad.  My Dad showed up and called the police as well as my Mom.

So, the police show up and they then begin asking my parents if one of them did it (remember my parents just went through a divorce) not really believing my story.  Finally they were convinced that yes I was truly kidnapped.  They then had me look through photo albums stacked about 2 feet high of child molesters and kidnappers in the area.  I totally blocked out what the guy looked like and the details of the vehicle he was driving.

The police then took me to Baylor hospital and they took photos of my buttocks and completed their police report.  I then was taken back to my Dad.  The father figure began to emerge from my Dad... He said "Son... get in the car we are going to go find this *&%$##@#!!!!!!"  So we drove around for like 4 hours mind you it was getting dark and I could not recall the car description or even what the guy looked like.  I guess that's a good thing as if my Dad found this guy it would get pretty bad....

He was never found...

So, I felt the need to share this story and hopefully it benefits someone out there.  I have been blessed with two beautiful daughters and I have always shared this experience with them so they could share with their friends so that they would be aware that these type of kidnappings can happen in the middle of the day around lots of people.

I pray to God everyday for me to be able to have another day alive on this earth to not only help those in need around me but also help others become closer to our creator God - remember this - that things happen in life for a reason and you are special... There is no one else on this earth like you.  Don't take life for granted...! one out of one people die - that's a true statistic.  Enjoy each day and live it to it's fullest.

If you found my true life experience beneficial to you, please feel free to comment below and share.

May God Bless you ALWAYS..!
